our story
An homage to streetwear roots and a passion for golf — creating apparel that carries confidence across both worlds.
Most of my wardrobe came from thrift stores or second-hand racks. Nothing was wrong with that, but I remember being laughed at for what I wore — the way it made me shrink into myself. I felt disheartened, like I’d never truly belong. But those moments lit something in me. Instead of giving up, I dreamed of creating clothes that gave me the confidence I was missing.
In university, while studying marketing, I turned that dream into action. That’s when Achiliz Apparel was born — a Canadian streetwear brand built on confidence and individuality. It was my way of fighting back against those who told me I wasn’t enough because of what I wore.
My mum had been the first to put golf clubs in my hands when I was twelve — a small second-hand set that became priceless to me. I spent hours with her at the driving range, falling in love with the game, imagining what it would feel like to walk a real course. Golf became my quiet passion — a place of focus and chasing perfection — but life eventually pulled me away for a while.
Years later, I picked up the clubs again. This time, something inside me reignited. I felt the same spark I did as a kid, but with even more passion — as if I’d been given a second chance at something I once thought was out of reach. I realized Achiliz could become more than streetwear — it could bridge two worlds that were never meant to meet: golf and street culture.
Taking what used to be exclusive and making it ours.
When you wear Achiliz, you’re not just putting on clothing — you’re carrying a piece of that story, and the confidence to keep chasing the dreams that are still yours.
